Demo action

A demonstration action will be carried out in a real setting to validate the project approach and demonstrate whether the techniques and methods used work or not in the project context.

Location and extension

The demonstration plant is in the Valdebebas WWTP (Madrid) and it is estimated that it will have an area of about 300 square meters.

Urban solid waste treatment

The Organic Fraction of Urban Solid Waste (OFMSW) will be collected, crushed and treated in the demonstration plant, which will treat up to 50 m3/d of mixed flow (WW + OFMSW).
